Fri 20th Dec., I arrived on my own needing a quick meal before a concert. The young woman in charge managed to find me a small table and managed to provide me with a delicious picante pizza in about 10 mins ! ... despite how busy they were. I can't remember enjoying a pizza so much; it was super. I was served so quickly that I even had time for a coffee at the end of my meal. Next time I'm back in Louth I'll definitely be paying a visit to Via Italia.
Highly recommended!

Tried for the first time and would never go there again. Food was nice but The woman that owns it has a serious attitude problem. The customer service was terrible. Very judgemental, rude and aggressive.

Gave it a try as back in town for Christmas and it appears to have new management and decor. I got a takeaway pizza and unfortunately it was both overpriced and of very poor quality. Reminiscent of a fast food pizza.

Yet another Friday afternoon delight. Steak stroganoff possibly best ever tasted. Baked Camembert with fresh crusty bread and sweet caramelised onions. Great service and great food.

What a lovely hidden gem in Louth. We love independent Italian restaurants and this was a really good find. The food was excellent and generous and the service was very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely lunch

Nice food, nice venue, friendly staff. I would recommend booking, we walked in but feel lucky becouse the place filled shortly after and on a Tuesday night. The food tastes nice just missing that extra bit of presentation, years ago they used to put parsnip shavings on some of the pollo dishes or parsley garnish on the ribs. Portion are reasonable especially if you do partake in a starter as I did (ribs). I think the young lad who served us may of been new as our starter arrived before our drinks, but he rectified it and everything afterwards was lovely. You could see what I believe was one of the owners serving a laughing with customers. Definitely recommend nice food in a nice location

We went here for a late lunch they were serving the full menu which was good most Italian places aren't even open till evening.
Food was exceptional very tasty.
We had a starter and a main and we were stuffed, portion sizes are just right.
We felt underdressed as we hadn't planned to go out to eat. We will definitely be going back and will get dressed up next time.
Another of louth's hidden gems.

The food was INCREDIBLE and even on a Saturday night when there were loads of people the wait time was still fast.

Still fairly new to louth area and we booked in for 6 people for my daughters 18th birthday last night.
We was apprehensive for booking due to my daughter being autistic and picky with foods, but Staff were friendly nothing was too much trouble and food was great., Even brought her a piece of cake with a candle. Daughters 2 course meal was free with a free drink, (as long as you take proof of D.O.B).
Was reasonably priced
Will definitely return 😀

Atmosphere great as with friends. Service slower than I expected though food was cooked to order. As this I would have expected it to be hotter xx

Went to Via Italia recently on 17th August for my friend’s birthday. New decor is lovely but food and staff are a miss. When we arrived the owner / manager came over. Her attitude was bordering on rude and it seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She gave us the wrong menus and when we asked for the lunch menu it was like she couldn’t be bothered to get it. When the food arrived it was ok but the mussels were tiny and could not be described as a main in anyway. She brought a bowl of water and made a point to say that it was to ‘wash our hands’ then proceeded to laugh. Very ignorant and patronising to be honest. The place was empty and with no atmosphere. Will not be going again very dissatisfied. 1 star as I enjoyed the sauce on the mussels.

Went to visit Louth on our holidays and visited this restuarant for a lunch for a family of 4. Pizzas tasted excellent and the garlic bread cheese was outstanding. Also effortlessly catered for my child who has special dietary requirements. Will visit again next year when back in Lincolnshire.

We've been to Via Italia Restaurant 4 weeks running. First and second visits were light bites. Chose different courses each visit. Next to visits were pasta dishes. Every dish has been top quality and delicious. We've had four weeks of fabulous food from Via Italia. Looking forward to many more.

Outstanding Food, Service & Atmosphere!
You can instantly tell that there’s so much passion going into this beautiful & inviting restaurant.
The food was delicious (the carbonara was the best I’ve had outside of Italy) and the price is more than reasonable!
The owner & waitress were perfectly attentive throughout our visit, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
If you love a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, with brilliant food and service, with just the right amount of stunning decor (and stunning hand painted murals) this is the place for you!

Visited via Italia as we heard it was under new management. Food was reasonably good. The service was not great, manger didn’t say hello or welcome as she showed us to our table. She seemed irritated the whole time. I asked to see what sides they did, which irritated her further because she had to get another menu, why wouldn’t you have sides on your main menu?
She was rude to one of the young staff members, tutting and rolling her eyes at her. Poor girl had done nothing wrong. Probably be some time before we go back.

The ingredients were all incredibly fresh, resulting in super delicious food. I highly recommend the Caesar salad and lasagna. I'll definitely be back!

I was really hopeful that Via Italia would be a great restaurant but left feeling disappointed.
Firstly, I couldn't complain about the food . Quality ,portion size and price are all exactly what you'd expect from a successful restaurant .
The disappointment started with the time we waited for the first course, 1 hour 10 minutes after walking in . The place wasn't full by any means and we couldn't see any reason . I appreciate that all meals are cooked fresh but it's way too long to wait .
Second disappointment, the service .
The staff were lovely and I'm not critical of them as individuals but the whole procedure needs a little more organisation and polish .
Drinks were all served to one member of the party who then had to direct them to the correct person.
Cutlery arrived on the table with a little too much momentum. Not thrown , but it shouldn't be moving when it hits the table .
Plates were placed on top of knives and forks several times which didn't help either ..
Lastly the bill was wrong , it was quickly rectified but it really summed up the lacklustre evening.
Don't be put off by this , the food was great and I'd go back , but there's plenty of room for improvement..

Excellent food at this newly renovated and reopened Louth favourite. Great pizzas and ideal children’s size portions.
Give it a go!
